Google access, your data security, and disconnect options

FlipMail connects Gmail through Google OAuth. This page explains how to remove that access and what we delete on our side when you do.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Disconnect a mailbox in FlipMail

When you disconnect a Gmail mailbox inside FlipMail, we remove the connection and wipe email content and related records we stored for that mailbox, as described in our privacy policy .

  1. Sign in to the FlipMail app.
  2. Go to Settings, then Mailboxes.
  3. Choose Disconnect next to the inbox you want to remove.

Delete your FlipMail account

To delete your workspace and personal data from FlipMail, follow the account deletion or data request process described in our privacy policy . If you are not sure which option applies, contact us through the address listed there.

Revoke FlipMail in your Google Account

You can remove FlipMail's access to your Google account at any time without opening the FlipMail app.

  1. Open Google Account: Third-party apps with account access .
  2. Find FlipMail in the list and choose Remove access (wording may vary by locale).

Revoking access stops new API calls. It does not by itself delete copies of messages that were already stored in FlipMail while the connection was active. Use disconnect or account deletion above for that.
